I was born and raised by my parents, Mac and Judy Simmons, on the island of Bequia until I was 17. I went to Canada to study, and have an Honours Bachelor degree in Comparative Literature and Culture from the University of Western Ontario. I have always loved to read and write; I began writing poetry at a very early age and have been published here and there. I work at a Library in London Ontario, where I tell my coworkers funny stories about growing up on a small island in the Caribbean. I hope you enjoy my short stories about Bequia!
